I was going to put this in my "WTF file," but I know that WW changes up its programs fairly regularly. However, from what I'm reading, this is going to be a pretty drastic change. Oh no! I guess I'm going to have to join a meeting after all to get the new materials?
I found some more information about the program changes, and some unhappy folks in this Facebook group.
Annie!!! What do we do?
Annie sez: I don't know what to think, but I suppose I have to either get on board or walk away from my WW online tools, which I've come to depend on.
ReplyDeleteDo you suppose they'll replace my old-program purse-sized kakky-lator with one that calculates new "PointsPlus?"
(On a side note, from a branding perspective, I would have chosen a name for the new program that didn't just add the one word added to all clothing lines' fat-people collections.)
In theory, it all sounds good - more fruits & veg, fewer Kettle Bakes potato chips. (Who said that?!) But I am distrustful of a program that simultaneously gives me food that used to cost points for free, AND more points for the rest of the crap, at the same time. How can more = less? Hmmm.....
I felt that way about the Flex Points program too - when you added up the potential points you had on Winning Points and then the points you had on Flex Points every week, suddenly there were 15 or so more per week. (This is why I usually only ever ate 1/2 my available flex points at most - I just didn't trust them!)
I know, science, trials, blah blah blah. But like Child, I am averse to change when I have something I like. I'll be nervous, but I think I'll have no choice but to get on board, at least at first.
And if I have to go back to my comfortable old program using pen and paper, I suppose I'll have to do it!
